Master's VS PhD

Now that I got my Master's degree, I have to continue on PhD. I found this article in IEEE Potentials August/September 2005. It's very interesting.



Callahan says,
"The bachelor's degree proves that you can be trained,
the Master's degree indicates some expertise in your field,
and the PhD indicates your ability to become an expert in **any** field."



And the article goes on saying that PhD is like a big step from Master's. Much much more work and you have to do everything on your own.

Hmm.. hmm.. will I ever make it? Let's see.
